We are proud to be supporting a number of charities.
Riders for Health is an award-winning social enterprise, working to make sure all health workers in Africa have access to reliable transportation so they can reach the most isolated people with regular and predictable health care.
Riders for Health’s vision is of a world in which the poor do not suffer and die for lack of access to health care and other vital services simply because they are isolated by distance or terrain. Medicines for easily preventable and curable disease routinely fail to reach the people who need them because of lack of reliable transport.
Riders for Health manages and maintains vehicles used to deliver health care and other vital services to rural communities in Africa, working with ministries of health and other agencies in rural communities in Zimbabwe, the Gambia, Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania.
The Joey Dunlop Foundation raises funds to construct facilities to benefit people, especially children, with a disability. They have provided a lift in the Isle of Man TT grandstand to make access possible to the main viewing gallery for the disabled.
In June 2009 the charity purchased Braddan Bridge House on the TT Course with excellent viewing of the TT Races to provide much needed accommodation for the physically challenged and their families on the Isle of Man.
