Background

Nigel Bamber is an Aeronautical Engineer, with 25 years experience in all aspects of the design of aircraft and high speed vehicles.

Through the mid 80’s to the mid90’s he worked in Formula One, specialising in advanced composite structures and vehicle dynamics, with time spent at Team Lotus, Benetton Formula and Ferrari.

After retiring from the F1 circus, his varied career has seen him occupying many roles in high technology organisations, such as Chief Aircraft Stress Engineer at Boscombe Down and Head of R&D at Reynard Racing.

Nigel has helped us with the design of the rear wheel and with preliminary work on the frame. He has just taken up a permanent position with Lotus F1 Racing, so is no longer with the Angelic Bulldog Project.
