Reasons for Joining Angelic Bulldog
When I was eight, I set myself a challenge to build a go-cart.
It was called The Shark and it was dark blue as it was the only paint I could find. Made the rest of it also from what I could find. The wheels were various sizes , but I thought I can deal with that! The chassis was scrap wood, but I played around with the structure to get it the best it could be. The rest of it borrowed. Despite it’s haphazard assortment of components it ran well (bit of a speed-wobble but hey! )
I still enjoy a challenge.
Over some thirty-odd (and some may say just plain odd) years later and, after a lot of experience in designing and building things other than go-carts, I got an e-mail out of the blue. I visited this web-site and was inspired by the skill, commitment, and spirit of the people involved.
I hope you find the same!
Our challenge now is a lot like what I faced all those years ago. Then it was some 20mph …….now it’s a 400mph target (speed wobble is NOT an option!)
Well, I’ve got involved, helping Gabriel, Jim and the rest of the team to bring the record back to these shores working on the chassis and the body-work design and really enjoying doing something very special!
Okay!…how about getting involved too?…..
